A collection of turn-based, multiple-player strategy games is based on a common problem, in which 'Best-Strategist' players seek to maximize their point scores by 'taking' or 'Passing' rings of a uniform, nominal value from a fixed, known supply which, when exhausted, makes available a ring of greater value to the player having the next turn. Games are grouped into three skill levels, each containing several sub-games generated by varying particular rules; rules are modular in that elements of different games can be combined to create new, hybrid games with a well-defined structure. These are two preferred embodiments of the Ring Game, a physical version and an electronic version, the alter playable on various platforms including, but not limited to, game player/TV monirors; hand-held wireless devices; and computers.
