The headlamp has a free axial filament (10) centred at the focus (F0) of a concave mirror (20) having two lateral zones. One zone (21) forms a concentrated beam bounded by a straight horizontal line and situated entirely on one side of a vertical reference plane. The other zone extends to the base of this plane on the opposite side and produces a broad beam. Vertical offset adjustments bring the first cut-off to the level of the upper half-plane. The two zones intersect continuously along a line (LT) between the upper and lower edges.
