The invention relates to medicine and biology, in particular to physiotherapy and immunology including a photo-immune modulation. The inventive photo-immune modulating therapy is carried out with the aid of light matrix by selective radiation of spatially distant areas of a biological object. Said areas are connected to the local focuses of a particular disease and/or immune system organs and irradiated by means of epidermal, intravenous, extracorporal irradiation of blood and components thereof or by external and intratissue endoscopic irradiation of the thymus, spleen, mucous membranes, lymph nodes and vessels. Selection of energetic and spectral parameters, individual radiation dose during initial tests in vitro, determination of efficiency of immune modulating effect during and after treatment and a cycle time are based on the modification of antibody content in blood serum and/or a secretion of the biological object. Said antibodies can be highly avid and less avid, normal and/or specific with respect to the antigen. The immune modulating effect can be enhanced by a combined action of the radiation and other effects (physical, chemical or medical preparations) produced on the object. The inventive device for immune modulating therapy comprises a unit provided with a source for optical action connected to a power supply, a life support unit which is connected to the biological object and provides the conditions required for therapy, a control unit connected to the optical action unit and the life support unit and a feedback unit which functionally binds the control unit and the biological object.
