The invention concerns an analog-to-digital converter for a high frequency data acquisition system comprising a plurality of digitizers (6, 9) capable of sampling and digitizing an analog input signal (a; w1) at high frequency, the sampling times of the different digitizers being in phase variation and a circuit for calibrating (3, 4, 5, 8, 11) the phase shift between a first digitizer and a second digitizer. The phase shift calibrating circuit (3, 4, 5, 8 11) determines a phase shift correcting value (u) so as to minimise the difference between a series of digital values (ri ) determined by the first digitizer (6) and a corresponding series of digital values (u1) determined by interpolation of the digital values (si) supplied by the second digitizer (9) The value u can be computed from the sampling period, the value supplied by the first digitizer (6) at time i and the value supplied by the second digitizer (9) at the corresponding sampling time.
