Method for implementing realtime electronic auction system by using WWW based digital signature

PURPOSE: A method for implementing realtime electronic auction system by using WWW(World Wide Web) based digital signature is provided so that auction information cannot be changed on a network by inputting an electronic signature of an auction participant to an auction price and an auction server message. CONSTITUTION: An auction client which intends to participate in an Internet auction generates an open key and a secret key to receive a client certification letter and a server certification letter from a certification authority before the Internet auction, and demands the certification authority to issue the certification letter(S1). When the certification authority receives a request for the certification letter from the auction client, the certification authority confirms an electronic signature of the auction client, generates the certification letter according to the validity of the electronic signature, stores the certification letter in its database, and provides the certification letter to the auction client(S2). An Internet auction participant logs in an auction server and provides an auction price(S3). The auction is performed in a real time(S4). A bidder of the auction product is determined, and an auction result is notified to the whole auction clients of the participants(S5).
