Webmail handling and mail sending notification method under the downmail system

PURPOSE: A method for notifying reception and transmission of web mail in down mail system is provided to conveniently transmit and receive mail by an HTTP CGI(Common Gateway Interface) procedure and a method that a recipient sees a list of received mail or the contents of a specific mail and deletes the specific mail by the HTTP CGI procedure. CONSTITUTION: A sending notification mail(301) consists of a header(302) and a body. The body is composed of an access information block(303), a mail size block(304), a help site block(305), and an extracted mail content block(306). The access information block(303) comprises a mail server ID, a user ID, and a password. The access information block(303) is configured using HTTP syntax and CGI syntax so that a recipient can receive the original mail in the form of a web mail. The mail size block(304) is a string to express the size of the original mail at a unit of K byte. The help site block(305) is to indicate a web site to give help for a sending notification mail and down mail system. The extracted mail content block(306) indicates an area to write some arbitrary string extracted from the original mail body.
