PURPOSE: A WCCT(Wireless Common Channel Transmitter) for space recognition in a mobile communication system is provided to transmit forward common channel signals for the space recognition in the CDMA mobile communication system without influencing a call state of a terminal, so as to exclusively transmit the forward common channel signals for positioning of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A communication block communicates with a base station. A controller(461) controls PN offsets of pilot channel signals, transmission frequency channels, and amplified levels. CCGs(Common Channel Generators)(481-48Y) generate pilot channel signals corresponding to predetermined PN offsets under the control of the controller(461). FUCs(Frequency Up Converters)(4821-482X) perform frequency-up conversions for the pilot channel signals with predetermined frequency channel under control of the controller(461). A PA(Power Amplifier)(423) amplifies the up-converted pilot channel signals to predetermined amplification levels under the control of the controller(461), and transmits the amplified signals through an antenna.
