AN OFF-BOARD STATION AND AN ELECTRICITY EXCHANGING SYSTEM SUITABLE FOR USE WITH A MOBILE VEHICLE POWER SYSTEM

Mobile vehicle power supply systems and electrical exchange systems improve the economic viability of different transmission modes incorporating generators such as electric motors and fuel cells for generating electricity. The power supply system provides offboard use of the power generated by generators of mobile vehicles, such as electric vehicles. Offboard use of power or remote use from a vehicle includes power delivery to a remote location. The offboard station is provided to accommodate fuel delivery to the vehicle and the power generated by the fuel cell. The offboard station and the vehicle are suitably configured for quick and easy interconnection so that power can be exchanged between the vehicle and the offboard station and the electrical exchange system. The electrical exchange system is configured to be installed at multiple locations so that a mobile vehicle operator can purchase or sell electricity. The operator uses the user authentication element to assist in recording or tracking the electricity exchanged between the vehicle and the electrical exchange system.
