OFF-LINE SEARCH METHOD OF MOBILE STATION SEARCHER WITH HIGH EFFICIENCY OF MEMORY USAGE

PURPOSE: A method for searching an off-line in an MS(Mobile Station) searcher for the efficiency of a memory is provided to minimize a time and the memory required when searching the off-line. CONSTITUTION: A positive slew of an off-line PN generator is sufficiently performed. Receiving data are stored. A negative slew of the PN generator is performed to a start point of a search window for performing an off-line window search. A correlation is performed. A PN state of the Pn generator is stored in a register by every Nth chip for searching next hypothesis. The above processes are repeatedly performed until a window search is ended. The PN state stored in the register is used as an initial PN state when searching the off-line to the next hypothesis.
