NRD QPSK NRD Guide QPSK Modulator for Millimeter Wave

PURPOSE: A QPSK modulator of a millimeter wave band using an NRD guide is provided to change a phase difference between an input and an output and reduce a generation of an output deviation due to the phase difference by using a circulator for the NRD guide, a rear teflon line for the NRD guide, and a PID diode. CONSTITUTION: A primary BPSK modulator(18) and a secondary modulator(19) are connected to a common NRD guide line(17). A first PID diode mount(7) is inserted between an NRD guide front teflon(5) and an NRD guide rear teflon(9) of the primary BPSK modulator(18). A second PID diode mount(8) is inserted between an NRD guide front teflon(6) and an NRD guide rear teflon(10) of the secondary BPSK modulator(19). High dielectric constant thin film sheets(11,12) are inserted at both sides of the first PID diode mount(7). High dielectric constant thin film sheets(13,14) are inserted at both sides of the second PID diode mount(8).
