PURPOSE: An electrodialysis unit for removing carbon dioxide and carbon dioxide removal system using the same is provided, which can remove effectively carbon dioxide contained in exhaust gas by electrodialysis unit using bipolar membrane. The system can also organically synthesis carbon dioxide with hydrogen that is generated as a by-product from the electrodialysis unit, thus facilitating removal of carbon dioxide, and separate carbon dioxide from acid solution by using heat of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: The electrodialysis unit comprises a housing(12), a cathode chamber(24) and an anode chamber(14), a water passage(21), more than one of electrolyte chambers which are composed of alkali solution chamber(30) and acid solution chamber(32). At both ends of the vertical housing, anode and cathode chambers are separated by an anode plate(16) and a cathode plate(26) respectively. To the top of three acid solution chambers which are separated by bipolar membranes(20) and sandwiched by alkali solution chambers, acid solution enter and discharged through the bottom line entrained with carbon dioxide gas. At the water passages set between anode and cathode chambers and the acid solution chambers, water is electrolyzed by applying electricity to the anode and cathode plates.
