Apparatus for automatic shrink of fire engine ladder and elevated bending boom and control method therefor

PURPOSE: An automatic return system for an aerial ladder and a boom of a fire truck and a control method thereof are provided to make the ladder and the boom returned their seat positions automatically according to the switch manipulation of a user. CONSTITUTION: The automatic return system for an aerial ladder(10) and a boom(20) of a fire truck comprises a sensor(30) for detecting horizontal/central positions of the ladder and the boom; a sensor(40) for detecting inclination angles of the ladder and the boom; a central control computer(50) for adjusting the positions of the ladder and the boom on the basis of the detected data and controlling general operation of the system; a manipulation key pad(70); and a cylinder/motor driving part(60) for performing stretching, rotating and retracting operations of the ladder and the boom according to the control result of the central control computer.
