MIXED COMPOSITION CONTAINING PLANT EXTRACT, WHICH HAS ACCELERATING EFFECT ON GASTRIC EMPTYING OF DOMPERIDONE AND DOES NOT AFFECT SMALL INTESTINE TRANSPORT, AND DOMPERIDONE

摘要

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition including a plant extract having a reducing effect on adverse effect of domperidone as well as accelerating effect on gastric emptying of domperidone, and excipients, together with domperidone is provided. The composition has enhanced gastric emptying properties without any adverse effect on the small intestine when the domperidone is administered alone. CONSTITUTION: One or more plant components selected from Capsicum annum L., Acori Graminei Rhizoma, Zingiberis Rhizoma, Amomi Semen and Cinnamomi Cortex are extracted in a solvent. The extract thereof is added with domperidone and pharmaceutically acceptable excipients and then formulated into a conventional pharmaceutical formula. The solvent is selected from water, lower alcohol or chlorinated hydrocarbon.
