SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING SERVICE OF LARGE SCALE MECHANICAL APPARATUS CAPABLE OF BEING DRIVEN AUTOMATICALLY

PURPOSE: A system for supporting a service of a large scale mechanical apparatus capable of being driven automatically is provided to support a service rapidly and exactly by watching a trouble through a computer monitor directly in a remote place and exchanging information necessary for a service interactively, and supplying necessary information for an unskilled repairman on a field in real time when a trouble of an apparatus is generated. CONSTITUTION: A video transmitting unit(1) photographs information being generated in a field through a color CCTV camera(2), compresses the photographed video through a moving picture compressing device(3), stores the photographed video in a computer(4). The video transmitting unit(1) transmits the compressed video information to a transmission device(5). A video receiving unit receives video information transmitted in a field in a receiving device, restores the transmitted video, and displays the video on a display device. As the transmission device(5) and the receiving device, a modem is used, respectively. The transmission device(5) and the receiving device are connected through a public switched telephone network.
