METHOD OF AND DEVICE FOR REPLACEMENT OF ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE AT DC/AC AND AC/DC CHANGEOVER STATIONS

FIELD: railway transport; stations where dc electric locomotives are to be replaced by ac electric locomotives and vice versa. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, prior to uncoupling or electric locomotive to be replaced, direction of train movement is change, and train is directed to point of coupling of their electric locomotive with cars forward so that last car relative to pushing locomotive crosses current system division border. For implementing this method, station is provided with turnable triangle in point of coupling at side of each approach in vertex of which blind track is made whose length is not less than length of arrival-departure track, and contact system of station is made in form of isolated different-current systems with break or neutral insert in between. EFFECT: simplified arrangement of tracks and power supply of changeover stations, reduced detention of transit trains. 3 cl, 1 dwg
