SUBSTANCE: asporgenous strain B. anthracis retaining properties at storage and culturing in nutrient media and showing low activity of proteolytic enzymes is a producer of different anthrax antigens. The strain retains properties at storage, culturing in nutrient media and after passages through laboratory animal bodies. Asporogenicity of the strain gives an advantage in its use as producers of anthrax antigens and other biologically active substances, for example, components of anthrax vaccines and diagnostic preparation since the probability of seeding working compartments, laboratory and industrial equipment with anthrax pathogen spores is absent. The strain has low activity of proteolytic enzymes destructing protein preparations at stages of their isolation and purification that provides optimal yield of protein anthrax antigens and excludes the necessity of use of protease inhibitors. The strain is the source of different anthrax antigens: antigens of cellular wall, protective antigen, edemous and lethal factors. EFFECT: strain indicated above, valuable properties. 3 ex
