FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves conducting iris coloboma by sequentially treating tissues with laser radiation. First, primary opening 1/3 of iris thickness deep is created by using YAG laser radiation of 1.2 to 3.3 mJ power and 15 ns action time. Pulse number is equal to 1 to 3. Then, argon laser radiation having 400-600 mW power and action time of 0.08-0.15 s is applied. Focal spot diameter is equal to 50 to 100 mcm, pulse number is 2 to 5. Then, YAG laser of 0.8-2.0 mJ power and 15 ns long action time. Pulse number is equal to 2-5. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; avoided hypertension syndrome manifestations; reduced total action power. 2 dwg
