The envelope (1) has a viewing window (2) arranged in one half and an inlay sheet (4) that corresponds to the size of the envelope. A zone is left free between the upper and lower edges of the viewing window and the envelope edge for the postcode, etc. The writing areas on the inlay sheet are marked to be read from the same side of the sheet and are arranged either on the left and right hand halves of one side of the sheet or in overlapping areas on the front and back sides.
