The automisation system has a number of sensors and/or actuators (5.1,..5.n) with radio transmitters and/or receivers, coupled to a computer (1) for software implementation of the control, provided with a monitor (2), an operating station (3) and a plug-in base station (4). The latter is provided by a circuit board card with at least one radio receiver, for reception of sensor data and/or a transmitter, for transmission of control and/or parameter information for the actuators. An Independent claim for a base station for an automisation system is also included.
