Process for compressive reforming of metallic materials comprises conveying the liquid or liquid material from a preparation chamber into a casting chamber of a die casting machine. An Independent claim is also included for a device for compressive reforming of metallic materials comprising a heating chamber (3) as the preparation chamber directly connected to the casting chamber (6) via a heating channel (4). Preferred Features: The material is conveyed at elevated temperature with the exclusion of air. The material is made of aluminum or magnesium.
