The blank for producing a carton has a base (2) with lid sections (22, 23) attached to one side. The opposite side has a three-section tab (8, 14, 17) attached to it, catches (24, 25) being cut into the ends of the central tab (14). The other two sides also have three section tabs (9, 15, 18; 10, 16, 19) attached, the central tabs carrying slots (30, 31).The tabs are folded over to form walls with a rectangular cross-section, the tabs fitting into the slots to hold them in position.
