To form a shaft wall (2) containing a nominal fracture point, as an entry opening for a tunneling machine to move through the shaft (1) to and from the ground being dug. A prefabricated section (3) is installed outside the shaft, of a material which can be penetrated by the tunneling machine, in the reinforcement (5) of the shaft wall. The shaft to be used is prepared using a slit wall grip or slit wall cutter, with a slit filled with a supporting fluid to give the wall for the shaft. The reinforcement and the prefabricated section are embedded in the slit by concrete in a contraction process. The prefabricated section is reinforced by fibers of steel or glass or textiles, or by an industrial woven fabric, with an outer steel frame if required.
