A data communications device (1) transmits an order (5) for surgery commodities to the data pack/unpack device via telecommunications networks (2). The value of the order is determined and subtracted from the budget. The budget remainder (6) is transmitted back via telecommunications networks from the data pack/unpack device to the data communications device.
