The torque limitation device enables two shafts (driving shaft and driven shaft) non-positively coupled by a ball lock to be separated when a preset torque is exceeded. The shafts stay apart until the torque of one of them changes. This is achieved by an arrangement of elongated holes, which guide the balls (10) as they run out of the recesses (9).
