The unicondylic prosthesis comprises a femur component (2) with sliding surface (14) an a mounting component to hold and fix to the bone part and form the knee contact and rotation point. A meniscus component (3) has bearing (6), sliding (7) and contact surfaces. The bearing surface (6) contacts the femur component and the sliding surface (7) contacts a tibia component (4). The contact surface of the meniscus component (3) makes contact with a mobile tibia component (5) riding a guide element to effect a dynamic shift of the knee contact and rotation point. The meniscus bearing surface (6) is spherical to take the spherical femur component (2) as against the sliding surface (7) and the tibia part contacting the meniscus (3) can be either flat or spherical. The mobile tibia component (5) contact surface connecting to the guide (12) should be flat and with both contact surface and guide arranged at an angle.
