A process for the production of a solution of pure triethylenediamine (TEDA) comprises evaporation of TEDA from a mixture comprising a solvent or a diluent, whereby the solvent or diluent has a boiling point of 175-250 deg C at normal pressure, and the TEDA vapor is fed into a liquid solvent.
