A base body is connected to a front car body. The base body is a horizontal slider (1) that can be accelerated or braked. The slider is pivotably attached to a pivoting device (5) via a rocker (11) and a body (9) representing an inertial mass. The rocker is held in the rest position and in an upright position during an acceleration phase of the horizontal slider (1), and in the event of a crash, pivots to the front car body owing to the inertia.
