Material being dried is held in volumes so connected during filling and emptying of the dryer (11), that they remain closed against the surroundings. The dryer opening connection (17) joins with those (34, 22) of the dispenser container (1) and the receiver container (23) respectively. Preferred Features: The dispenser includes an emptying device with an outlet hopper and a conical closure (3) moving axially in a cylindrical guide, supported by braces on the outlet funnel. The conical closure is spring-loaded into the closure against the inner wall of the outlet hopper (34). It is raised pneumatically, the cylinder being integrated into a drop tube (6). A safety cover (2) is fitted to the dispenser connection (34). The charging station (A) has a pivoting unit (5) to remove the cover. The charging station includes a weigher (9). The dryer has a centering unit (31, 32, 33) for vertical alignment. This includes a vertically-moving cam follower, with slide ways fastened to the dryer rotary axis, centered by the cam follower roller. The dispenser also has flaps. Compensation bellows (8) bridge the dryer/dispenser connection. Active or passive flaps are included.
