The construction module comprises two parallel, spaced-apart panel-type wall sections (1,2) interconnected by intermediate elements (3) extending transversely between them. At least the inside of the two wall sections is a board stack element consisting of upright wooden board stacked elements constructed in conventional manner by gluing, nailing or dowelling. Only two crosswise orientated intermediate elements are provided, each adjacent to the module's narrow side. The intermediate elements consist of two parallel, vertically spaced cross members fastened by their ends to the wall sections. An Independent claim is included for a modular construction system comprising several of the proposed construction modules.
