Gearbox controller compares behavior of a real gearbox with that of ideal reference gearbox implemented in form of gearbox model in gearbox controller

The device compares the behavior of a real gearbox (1) with that of an ideal reference gearbox (7) implemented in the form of a gearbox model in the gearbox controller (8). A computed shift pressure (9) is output and simultaneously fed to the reference gearbox in the gearbox controller. The controller detects defined parameters during a shift process and compares them with corresponding reference gearbox parameters.
