The valve has a cylindrical housing (2) with an outwardly-projecting coupling flange (4). It has a sealed connection to a body incorporating a hollow valve stem (6). A movable valve member with a conical end presses against a spring-loaded (10) valve disc (8) which fits inside the coupling flange. There is a sealing ring (20) with a groove in the main portion holding a ring of sealing material.
