The arrangement has two parallel guides in a first coordinate direction for longitudinally movable guide carriages (5,6) joined by a bearer structure (12 enabling movement of the tool (11) in a second coordinate direction. The bearer structure is joined to the guide carriages via linkage axles (13,14) parallel to a third coordinate direction and consists of two coupling elements (15,16) joined by a third parallel linkage axis.
