PURPOSE: To provide a water repelling composite material and a water repelling material produced by using the same and excellent in waterproofness, antistaining properties or the like. ;CONSTITUTION: This water repelling composite particle is produced by coating a primary particle having mechanical strength higher than that of low mol.wt. PTFE with low mol.wt. PTFE and crushing and grinding the coated particle. The water repelling material is obtained by bonding a large number of the water repelling composite particles to the surface of a base material through an adhesive layer to form a rough surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
