PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a waterless lithography having excellent resolution with which highly sensitive laser recording is possible by providing a layer having an ink repellent surface on a laser reactive layer which contains a compound having specified property and a high molecular compound on a support body. ;SOLUTION: On a support body formed of metal and plastic film to be ordinary used for offset printing, a laser reactive layer having a compound which generates an acid by irradiation of active light beam, a compound which converts laser beam into heat, and a high molecular compound which degrades with heat in acid atmosphere is provided. Further, on top of it, a layer having an ink repellent surface is provided. Accordingly, a waterless lithography which can perform highly sensitive laser recording and pre-exposure immediately before laser exposure, and can satisfy preservative property while the high sensitivity is maintained, can utilize a low-cost infrared absorbent, and can satisfy resolution and edge sharpness at low coat can be realized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
