The invention relates to the preparation of bf3 and h2 so4 of commercial grades from effluents of the hydrate of boron trifluoride, containing impurities organiques.le method basically consists in reacting oleum with said effluent, to recover the boron trifluoride gas thus released, and in subjecting the sulphuric acid which is produced at the same time to treatment with hydrogen peroxide and a stream of air.
