The protection for a vine plantation comprises two tarpaulins (1) and a plastic cover (6) which protects two tarpaulin (1) rollers. The tarpaulins are wound by means of a spring system which is on each end of a metal tab (2). The tab is welded on a tube (3) which is fitted onto the vine stake. The tarpaulins have along their length a small bar (5) which makes them rigid and prevents them entering into the plastic cover.
