The sound processing system operates by progressive separation of the audio signal into a number of frequency bands, using a number of band pass filters, with smoothed transitions between adjacent bands. The electronic circuit that performs the band separation, is driven by a program that aims to provide three principal audio effects of presence control, volume oscillation, and variable separation. The audio signal is sampled for processing and storage. The parameter values for all the audio processing can be set by the programmable control unit, allowing high degree of flexibility of performance.
