The packaging is composed from two sheets (3) of identical outer shape between which the object (4) is enclosed. The first full sheet constitutes the packaging bottom on which the object rests and the second openwork sheet which is superposed on the first has a window (5) shaped to the object. The surface area of the window is less than the surface area (S') of the object so as to ensure its retaining in place behind the window.
