The holder comprises a case (1) in the bottom of which several rails (6) are fixed. On each rail an adjustable mini-easel slides comprising a knurled locking wheel (8). The easels hold the edges of the painting. A foam band (9) placed in the case protects the work. Hooks (10) allow a shoulder strap to be fitted for ease of transportation. A transparent pocket (11) allows a destination label to be inserted. Several types of cover (2), with a handle (4), allow the painting(s) inside the case to be protected. A safety lock (5) locks opening of the case. A system (12) allows castors or support feet (14) to be fitted.
