The clocked voltage converter has an inductive element for connection via a switch to a power source, a decoupling circuit that isolates a load depending on the voltage on the switch and a switch-on or switch-off timing element. A capacitive coupling circuit with a first capacitor connects the inductive element and switch junction to the timing element and influences the time determined by the timer via the voltage steps occurring on the switch. The clocked voltage converter has an inductive element (13) for connection via a switch (24) to a power source (10), a decoupling circuit (14) that isolates a load (15) depending on the voltage on the switch and a timing element (33) for determining the switch-on or switch-off time of the switch. A capacitive coupling circuit (37) containing a first capacitor (38) connects the junction of the inductive element and switch to the timing element and influences the time determined by the timer via the voltage steps occurring on the switch.
