The propulsion system comprises water pump (1) whose intake (10) is connected to a water intake orifice (100) in a point in the hull (2) located under the water. The outlet (11) is connected to a water ejection pipe (3) through a connection pipe (4). The water ejection pipe is located on one of the boat sides (21) and the outlet nozzle (30) is directed rearwards and emerges above the loaded waterline so that water ejection is made into the air and the water jet (31) is directed horizontally rearward. An Independent claim is included for a boat using the hydrojet propulsion.
