The combined refrigerator and air-conditioning unit uses the refrigerator compressor to cool water, or a mixture of water and alcohol, which is circulated in a heat exchanger with a fan blowing air across. The cooling liquid is held in a storage reservoir, which may be serpentine in shape. The liquid is circulated by a pump coupled to the air circulation fan by an electromagnetic clutch.
