The locking device has right and left jaw elements(25) fastened correspondingly to edge sections of the outer encompassing wall face of an upper clamping element(22), and which are movable in relation to each other in the transverse direction in order to narrow a slot(23) so that radial protrusions(223) on the inner encompassing wall face(225) abut against the saddle support tube(32). A clamping element(40) is located so as to move the jaw elements towards each other in the transverse direction.
