Motor vehicle door frame seal, has tubular component with elastically deformable part of extruded cellular material. The seal consists of a fixing component (1) for the door frame (2) and a tubular component (3) which is compressed when the door is closed, at least part (30) of which is elastically deformable and made from an extruded cellular material having a density of between 01 and 0.6 and evenly distributed cells of between 70 and 100 micro m in diameter. The fixing component is also extruded and is made from rubber or plastic with a density of 0.5 - 0.9. The two components are chemically compatible and co-extruded, or extruded separately and joined by an adhesive. In a variant of the design the tubular component can have a lengthwise inner membrane.
