PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a layman who has no experience to easily design the operation of an intersection of the least evaluation value by inputting the information on shape of the intersection, traffic demand by directions, number of lanes, etc., generating a combination of an operatable signal showing method and a lane operating method within the range of the inputted conditions and also evaluating the operation of the generated combination of methods. ;SOLUTION: An intersection information input means 1 newly inputs the information regarding an intersection, and an intersection operation pattern generation means 2 generates an intersection operation method that can be actually operated in a condition prescribed by the intersection information inputted by the means 1 and based on this information. An intersection operator evaluation means 3 evaluates each intersection operation pattern generated by the means 2, and this evaluation result is displayed by an evaluation result display means 4. It is preferable to use additionally a dynamic evaluation data conversion means and a dynamic traffic condition reproduction means. As a result of this, repetition of conventional processes for extraction of the intersection operation designing problems and the planning of countermeasures can be omitted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
