PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for the manpower by completely automating a slurry controller in a method of slurry shield construction, and to reduce an installation space by simplifying the whole constitution while decreasing the number of tanks and the number of pumps. ;SOLUTION: A jet flow mixer is installed to a slurry adjusting tank 14, in which moisture discharged from an excavated pit 20 is stored, and slurry in the slurry adjusting tank 14 is pumped up by a pump 25, and the water supply port 4 of the jet flow mixer is supplied with slurry. A powder slurry preparing material fed by driving a motor from a silo 27, in which the powder slurry preparing material is housed, is sucked from the slurry-preparing material suction port 7 of the jet flow mixer, and slurry in the slurry adjusting tank 14 is set in specified concentration by continuing slurry concentration in the slurry adjusting tank 14 until the slurry concentration reaches a fixed value in the supply of the powder preparing material by driving the motor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
