PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an optimum scheme for safely saving and managing an electronic document required to be saved and managed in electronic application as an original text.;SOLUTION: An accept server 121 of an electronic application system 12 first determines the arrival time of the accepted document in accepting an electronic application document from an applicant terminal 11 or an electronic official document from a terminal 14 of a person in charge, and then performs verification for the correctness and safety of the accepted document by virus check and verifying signature. When the correctness and safety are verified, the accepted document is registered as an original work with the determined arrival time in a document management system 122. Thus, even if much time is required for verifying the correctness and safety, the accepted document can be saved as an original text with the correct arrival time, and document infected with virus is not registered, so that the safety of the document saved as the original text in the document management system 122 can be secured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
