Production manner null of superelastic NiTi alloy

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for superelasticity NiTi alloy tube excellent in workability and superelaticity property. ;SOLUTION: Extrusion is executed to a composite billet, in which a core 20 having a deforming resistance of equivalent to or more than a tube stock 10 is inserted into the tube stock 10, at a temp. of 800-1000°C and then the core 20 is pulled out. The deformation of inner face of tube stock 10 is restricted with the core 20 to prevent the inner face from buckling. Thus, pulling out of the core 20 is easily executed. Further, the tube obtained has smooth inner face and is excellent in superelasticity property.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
