PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false paper money discrimination tool allowed to be easily handled only by one hand by reducing the size of the tool and enabling a user to easily operate a power supply switch and capable of discriminating whether paper money is true or false by irradiating the paper money with ultraviolet rays for a short time for delivering/receiving the paper money.;SOLUTION: The false paper money discrimination tool is provided with a light source 2 for emitting ultraviolet rays in order to read out an ultraviolet emitting pattern appearing on paper money B, an approximately cylindrical body 3 including the light source 2 in its inside, a battery power supply 4 fitted to the inside of the body 3, and the power supply switch 5 for turning on/off power supply from the battery power supply 4 to the light source 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
