Remote question multiple ways probe, question and apparatus for the same probe

PURPOSE: To make an interrogation without using a special connection wire in the remote interrogation between an interrogator and a plurality of probes or sensors. ;CONSTITUTION: Completely same probes are installed in e.g. concrete. An interrogator DI gradually increases the power level of the common starting wave, and makes transmission to a plurality of probes. Based on the results of tests S13, S17 on the received power level of the probe starting wave, the delay sequence of the prescribed quantity and the random polarity is employed, and the starting wave is relayed as it is S19. The interrogator compares the power level of the transmitted starting wave with the power level of the starting wave relayed from the probes S20. If the mean received power level is not fluctuated within the prescribed period S22, it is judged that only one probe is responded, and the individual address is transmitted to the started probe S24.
